E-commerce and Key Accounts Manager - Schlage Canada

The E-commerce and Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing, executing and fostering a collaborative business partnership between the Schlage brand and assigned customers that delivers volumes, share and profit objectives for the Company. Reporting to the Vice President Retail Sales, your goal will be to drive sales, increase market penetration whiling driving profitability contributing directly to the success of the Schlage brand.

What You Will Do:

  • Deliver sales and profitability targets.

  • Build, manage and execute Joint Business Plans with the customer and gain internal alignment from cross functional partners.

  • Collaborate across sales team to guide and service customers within an e-commerce platform.

  • Develop key e-commerce account plans and channel strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Collaborate with shareholders to develop program development opportunities in the e-commerce trade channels and identify incremental sales opportunities and profit.

  • Execute consumer and shopper driven strategies that enable Schlage to achieve best in class results.

  • Deliver results while maintaining the highest level of integrity.

  • Executes consumer and shopper driven strategies for their customers

  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits.

  • Lead process for managing trade spend/customer programs in collaboration with channel marketing and finance.

  • Lead the Business Segment on the needs of the Customer.

  • Develop and execute Customer & Category Strategic Development and annual operating plan.

  • Collaborates with channel marketing and operations to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy.

  • Accountable for working with team to launch new products, ensuring client buy in and understanding and focus on full implementation

  • Execute and contribute to annual promotional planning

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent years of experience

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in an external selling role or marketing category management position

  • 3+ years responsibility for brand sales to e-commerce retailers preferred

  • Previous experience with Canadian Tire, Lowes and Amazon would be an asset

  • Door Hardware experience; electrical and mechanical door hardware experience would be an asset

  • Exceptional computer skills; advanced excel, PowerPoint and data mining skills

  • Strong communication, analytical and negotiating skills;

  • Skilled at presenting ideas, sharing results in formal and informal meetings

  • Proven experience with strong account planning that achieved positive business results

  • Ability to build strong cross functional relationships with Finance, Marketing and Customer Care

  • Ability to lead discussions with people at all levels of the business

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time

  • The ability to multi task and handle various priorities

  • Bilingualism is an asset
