Customer Service Supervisor (1 year contract)

The Customer Service Supervisor will provide daily supervision and direction to the Customer Service Team. This position will work collaboratively with internal and external customers to deliver positive outcomes. This person will work to develop individuals and team capabilities to ensure Allegion delivers a world class service experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Customer Service Team

  • Manage individual and team performance against service level targets

  • Promote employee satisfaction through coaching, development, and rewards and recognition activities

  • Provide product and process expertise for the department and the business

  • Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives for the department

  • Maintain process and procedure documentation for the department

  • Serve as a functional expert for organizational projects/initiatives

  • Adhere to all Allegion Canada Inc. policies and procedures including Health and Safety

  • Assist with performance management for team

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum 5 years related customer service /industry experience

  • Post-secondary degree preferred

  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in a professional, positive, courteous manner with all levels of customers, clients, visitors and employees

  • Experienced in managing large teams

  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem skills

  • Skilled at managing customer relationships and issue escalations

  • Ability to learn about a large variety of technical product offerings

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, manufacturing operating systems (AS400) and Customer Relationship Management software (CRM)

  • Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset

  • Door hardware industry credentials is an asset

  • Managerial experience

  • Experience working in a large matrix organization

  • Call Center experience

  • ERP and CRM experience
