Quality Tech III Second shift 4:30 pm-1:00 am


  • Perform dimensional investigations of parts/products and document results such that the statistical data can be evaluated.

  • Perform finish testing of products and provide clear and concise reports.

  • Collection of data for baseline and post improvement studies for process capabilities.

  • Review process documentation as necessary and maintain records as required.

  • Troubleshooting of various part and assembly issues.

  • Perform calibration of mechanical measuring instruments per documented procedures.

  • Responsible for performing all calibration of MT&E in support of production and receiving inspection

  • Will interface with sourcing group, suppliers, inspection personnel, in-house engineering staff, calibration and equipment suppliers, and associates from the assembly floor.


  • Understand documented PPAP and calibration processes and procedures, while demonstrating a high level of initiative and integrity.

  • Work with little or no supervision.

  • Initiate problem reports to correct errors on engineering drawings and prevent assembly issues.

  • Maintain calibration “past due list” to less than 5% total gages.

  • Provide error free data without any questionable setups or methods.

  • Some technical school training or equivalent experience.

  • 6 months -3 years experience using precision measuring equipment/instruments.

  • Ability to read and interpret GD& T engineering drawings.

  • Familiar with calibration of measuring and test equipment.

  • Familiar with the use of open setup measuring equipment, optical comparator, CMM, and other precision measuring instruments.

  • Written and Oral Communication Skills: Expresses ideas clearly and effectively through written reports, letters, and articles.Uses good grammatical form. Expresses ideas clearly and effectively in individual or group situations.Judiciously and professionally tailors communication style.

  • Knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word software including the use of e-mail.


  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

  • Hearing and Eye protection as required.
