This position is responsible for the overall success of multiple, simultaneous high-profile IT projects that support the Allegion front office IT program. These projects will drive efficiency, better internal and external customer experience and new technical capabilities related to front-office needs. Some of these front office areas could include, but may not be limited to, web projects, business intelligence and analytics, customer relationship management, marketing automation and customer care enablement projects.

The Project Manager will establish project requirements, scheduled, budgets, and resources. Additionally the Project Manager will monitor the project from initiation through implementation while managing risks and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure completion of requirements within established timeline and budget. This person will need the ability to wear multiple hats to play a business analyst role in leading the business requirements process, lead and participate in testing and training efforts for a given period. In addition, he//she must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, stakeholders, senior leadership, suppliers and other regions.

Min. Yrs. Of IT Project Management Experience: 3+ years

Percentage of Travel: Up to 25%

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor degree required (computer Science or Information Technology related discipline preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, or technical lead

  • Provide outstanding customer experience to their business partners and coordinate outstanding customer service across the solution team while delivering solutions

  • Document problem statement related to business needs

  • Maintain communication of short and long term business goals with key stakeholders within IT and Business.

  • Develop the project scope and objectives based on the business needs and corporate initiatives

  • Lead business case development & obtaining project funding

  • Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) process for selection of software, hardware, and implementation partners

  • Partner with internal sourcing organization to drive contract processes from initiation to signature to ensure no delay to project timelines

  • Provide work direction and general project management oversight to assigned projects including scheduling, assignment of work, and review project efforts to ensure that the project meets technical and process specifications

  • Coordinate with all additional application teams to ensure integration points are managed and accounted for

  • Coordinate with all plants to ensure appropriate change management where business process changes may occur

  • Lead project prioritization sessions

  • Ensure that technology platform selection and architecture align with strategic direction

  • Track project plans and provide detailed reports of progress against plan. Generate project reports and develop appropriate conclusions to ensure achievement of requirements, schedule, priorities, performance, and profitability

  • Conduct risk assessment of strategic, technical, finance, or business factors impacting the project. Formulate and take corrective actions to mitigate deviations to the project plans and alert management of potential problems when appropriate

  • Report progress in writing and/or in presentations regularly in order to communicate status and as needed, escalate issues and recommended solutions. Advise senior management on overall project matters as they affect risks, return, resources, and financial plans to assure that the project requirements are met

  • Active partnership with key end users to look for ways to further optimize system usage and best practices

  • Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis

  • Experience with multiple development methodologies including Agile and waterfall

  • Strong learning agility and comfort with high degree of ambiquity

  • Strong demonstrated project leadership

  • Strong communication & influence, ability to collaborate with internal & external customers

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as a scrum master on a large project

  • Experience working directly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care organizations

  • Experience leading BI/Analytics projects

  • Experience leading customer relationship management projects

  • Experience leading marketing automation projects

  • Experience working with customer care call center technologies
