The Role :

The Director, Global Talent Acquisition will lead the Global Talent Acquisition function, developing and implementing innovative strategies and effective and efficient processes to ensure Allegion acquires the talent necessary to meet current and future business needs. The role will lead the strategy responsible for the attraction, assessment, and selection of best-in-class talent and will partner with business leaders throughout the company to design comprehensive and creative sourcing strategies that will create a pipeline of diverse top talent to drive business success. This position reports to the HR Vice President & Global Talent Leader and will develop a talent acquisition strategy and process globally, with a focus on delivering world-class recruiting results in the United States.

Primary Accountabilities :

  • Design/Socialize/Implement global talent acquisition strategies for multiple geographies

  • Provide meaningful and robust development for a global talent acquisition team

  • Partner with key leaders within the business and community to continuously evolve Allegion’s career value proposition

  • Defining and protecting the candidate/employee experience

  • Develop an insightful metrics process and intelligence that illustrate the health of the talent acquisition process

  • Optimize technology solutions including global utilization and adoption of the Applicant Tracking System, OnBoarding and Background Check Systems

  • Provide direction and consultation to the Human Resources Leadership team and Business leaders on strategic and emerging staffing trends.

  • Develop relationships with and manage third party vendor relationships

  • Create and execute talent strategies utilizing social media, channel sourcing and employment branding to position Allegion as an Employer of Choice

  • Ensure all interviewing and employment processes comply with all appropriate State and Federal legislation

  • Champion the University Relations program, developing key relationships with university personnel to develop a robust pipeline of candidates from campus

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated success in managing a talent acquisition function to attract talent in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed, performance-driven culture required

  • 8-10 years of full-cycle corporate talent acquisition experience

  • 3-5+ years leading corporate talent acquisition organizations

  • Merger & Acquisitions experience a plus

  • Passionate about Talent Acquisition’s role in driving business success

  • Strong communication skills including ability to clearly articulate information and ideas orally and in writing; ability to communicate compelling to impact and influence decision making

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other business-related field required

  • Master’s degree a plus

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Applicant Tracking systems is required
