Director Americas IT Mergers & Acquisitions

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with business units to prioritize strategic objectives as well as evaluate partnership, acquisition and divestiture opportunities against identified strategiesCreation of the IT business applications playbook leveraging a risk-based approach from due diligence to integration

  • IT owner for creation of the business case including cost, synergies, and risk

  • Participate in the development of detailed financial models and the valuation of AXP opportunities

  • Pre-acquisition IT diligence assignments focused on the following key areas: Business systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, and CRM ); Software Development Lifecycle; Budgetary analysis; and Organizational / Personnel assessment partnering with the Enterprise IT team to include integration work streams

  • Interim IT site management through the integration period where applicable

  • Day 1-365 planning and execution - driving performance improvement and long term strategy in key areas such as ERP; back office ; supply chain; BI / reporting integration. Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables during the integration period and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

  • Develop on-boarded resources by providing coaching to ensure employees understand the Allegion values and are a part of the Allegion family. Provides input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities; and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

  • Experience working across all functions of the business – Manufacturing and Distribution; Sales; Engineering; Finance; and Marketing

  • Demonstrated experience with supporting major ERP upgrades and/or implementations

  • Experience managing external vendors for technical project execution and project management

  • Analytical approach to problem-solving, solid conceptual skills and willingness to learn, sense of urgency and commitment for a job well done.

  • Strong work ethic, results oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Solid understanding of data integrity and audit / SOX compliance procedures
